Jakarta Schools Football League 2012

The Jakarta Schools Football League started life in 2005 with our inaugural season involving 12 schools and 36 teams. In 2012 the season is involving 58 schools fielding 168 teams and a total of 3000 registered players.

The JSFA is a school representative league bringing together various diverse communities in Jakarta including International Schools, Local Schools, National Plus Schools and very importantly, teams from the dis-advantaged communities in Jakarta including Orphanages and local under privileged Kampung based teams. As the league has grown so has our ability to widen the reach of the league through the world’s greatest community platform which is sport and in particular Association Football.
The 2012 season kicked off on January 7th and will operate into late April. The league is now reaching down into 5 divisions in some age groups and will operate U8, U10, U12, U14 and U16 age groups in the Coca-Cola League and Greenfields Challenge Cup tournaments.

Matches are hosted every Saturday morning during the season at our 7 core venue hubs as follows;
  • The British International Schools
  • STB-ACS International School
  • International Sports Club of Indonesia
  • Jakarta Japanese Club
  • The Deutsche International School
  • Sinarmas World Academy
The ethos of the league is fair play and sportsmanship and all participating teams and players  are required to sign a firm commitment of respect for others at all times.
The league is operated by a voluntary committee of dedicated parents who want to see the children thrive in a healthy and well run football environment.
